DAY 15: Perfect Push-Up Trial and Review

I realized that I forgot to make a post for the last workout I did.  This workout I did two regular (not inclined), one wide, and one close.  I now do 10 reps, 8 reps, and 8 reps.  I also ran 2.5 miles before doing the workout.

I’m now at the point where I am told to rest for two days before doing my one rep max.  The reason I am not at day “21″ is because I have not reported all the off days… but I am at the end of the calendar according to the routine.

After my one set max, I’ll give an analysis of what I thought of the program.

DAY 14: Perfect Push-Up Trial and Review

Hey everyone… nothing really exciting to report.  I did the same workout as day 13.  Just a reminder, in the beginning I was reporting each day (even the days off), but now I am just reporting the days I workout.  This seems a bit confusing (and looking back, I would have just reported everything).

To be honest, i just kind of forgot what I reported haha.  Nonetheless, things are going well, although doing the exercises can become a bit tedious… in other words, it seems to have lost its “sex appeal”.

DAY 13: Perfect Push-Up Trial and Review

To clarify, I have not been putting up all the days that are considered days off… Instead, I am just reporting on the days that i do the workout…  I know this screws things up a bit as far as my documentation… but it will work out in the end.

Day 13

No cardio today… I ran yesterday and my legs were burnt out and needed a rest

Perfect Push-Up: 2 incline sets, 1 wide set, and 1 close set… I did them 10 first, then 8, then 8 for each set.

DAY 12: Perfect Push-Up Trial and Review

Today was a good day… I feel good after the workout I did, especially since I did some partying this weekend.

Day 12

Ran 2.5 miles

Perfect Push-Up: 1 set inclined regular, 1 set regular, 1 set wide, and 1 set close… I think I’m gonna up the number I do in the upcoming sessions.

DAY 11: Perfect Push-Up Trial and Review

Today was a good day in regards to the perfect push-up and exercise.  They have the program changing a bit more now… it’s good to have it mixed up since it was starting to get a bit tedious

Day 11

Ran 3.4 miles

Perfect Push-Up: 2 sets were done with my feet on a chair on an incline.  These two sets were regular width, then I got off the chair and did my wide and close sets.  As usual, I did 100 sit-ups between each set… this is a good way to rest your upper body but still get a good workout while waiting :)

DAY 9: Perfect Push-Up Trial and Review

I won’t lie, the program does get boring at times, but I think they change it up just at the right times… my next work out has me scheduled for some incline pushups using a chair, so that will be a good change of pace.  No pictures, sorry, I know i know… I am not delivering on my promise… so therefore I am changing my promise to showing you pictures after HALF of the program has been complete haha…

It’s 21 days… so after about day 11 I’ll put them up.

Day 9

Ran 2.5 Miles

Perfect Push-Up: 2 sets of my regular pushups, one wide, and one close… inbetween each set I did 100 sit-ups.  So in essence, the same exact thing as two days ago.  But like I said, the next workout day (scheduled for Friday) should be fun.

Today I stained my deck all day… so I didn’t do any cardio.  Also, according to the Perfect Push-Up schedule, today is a day off…

DAY 7: Perfect Push-Up Trial and Review

The good news is I am no longer soar!  The bad news is, I don’t have any pictures for you.  I decided to wait until possibly tomorrow because 8 days seems to be like a better check in point.  Below is my workout and slightly modified Perfect Push-Up workout…

Day 7

Swam for 20 minutes then did water sprints for 10 minutes

Perfect Push-Up: After I was done swimming, I did my Perfect Push-Up routine, except this time I did two sets of regular then one set wide and one set close together.  The first set of my regular was 14,10,8.. the rest were 8,6,4,2 since I was pretty cashed from all the swimming.  In between sets I did 100 sit-ups.

DAY 6: Perfect Push-Up Trial and Review

So today i don’t have anything really to report.  I had a soccer game ( we lost 1-0), but the schedule says today is a day off for the Perfect Push-Up.  I start up again tomorrow with a bit of a modified routine.  I also plan on getting in some sprints.

Day 7 will have pictures from the first seven days.  I’ll clarify if they are pictures before or after I work out with the Perfect Push-Up.  Naturally, if it is after, I’ll be a little bigger… that being the case I’ll snap some shots before I work out for a more accurate assessment.
